As part of Grower Group Alliance’s 2026 Capacity Building Program, we are excited to offer a significant discount on the AIM WA Applied Project Management course through a Premium Learning Partnership (PLP) with AIM WA and GGA.

Cost

Thanks to this partnership, this course fee is nearly halved, dropping from $2,333 per person to just $1,530 per person (exc. GST, GGA handling fee included). This is possible if, together, we secure 51 days’ (17 enrolments) worth of training at AIM WA.


How it Works

  • The Applied Project Management course runs for three days, at $1,530 (exc. GST) per person.
  • To move forward with this partnership, a minimum commitment of 51 training days (or 17 participants) are required.
  • The course is available once per month, every month, for the 12 month duration of the PLP.
  • 3 seats per class, per month are available.
  • See above for currently available course dates.
    • All 2026 course dates have been confirmed by AIM WA.
    • 2027 course dates are still to be confirmed.
  • Once a minimum of 17 expressions of interest has been received, GGA will issue invoices to collect course payments and then confirm all enrolments with AIM WA.

About the Course

The Applied Project Management course explains the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), that enables project components to be identified and tracked.

Through a case study approach, you will learn to plan and create key project documentation to successfully manage and control projects.

By completing the Applied Management Project course, you will be able to examine the project management framework and develop strategies that contribute to an effective project plan.

Who will Benefit:

People who have had some experience of projects, including managers, project team leaders, project managers or project team members.

Content:

  • Examining the project management framework
  • The ten knowledge areas of project management
  • The five process groups of project management; initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing a project.

Learning Outcomes:

You will learn to:

  • Assess the organisational context for the project and apply project management principles to workplace initiatives
  • Develop project management strategies that contribute to an effective project plan
  • Build a suitable project structure and team
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders
  • Develop techniques for monitoring, controlling and reporting project progress
  • Deliver a completed project and evaluate outcomes
  • Understand the link between project outcomes and business benefits.
