Farm Business Resilience Program – Perth

10 Aug 2022 @ 8:00 am - 11 Aug 2022 @ 5:00 pm

$500

The program looks into strategic management capacity of farmers, preparing  for and managing risk, adapting to a changing climate and improving their farm business’ economic, environmental and social resilience.

The FBR program is supported by DPIRD through funding from the Commonwealth’s Future Drought Fund (FDF) initiative and is heavily subsidised costing eligible participants $500 for a $12,000 program. There is up to $1,000 for travel/childcare reimbursement available (*conditions apply).

A one-to-one business mentor/coach is provided in between workshops to maintain momentum and tailor planning to the individual business need i.e. succession planning, carbon farming, R&D Tax offsets, economic analysis etc.

All primary producers, including those that participated in the former WA Drought Pilot program and later iterations are encouraged to register. Two previous participants attended the first Carnarvon workshop to refresh and re-evaluate their business plans developed in those original programs.

Dates and venues are below

Carnarvon: 27 – 28 June & 26 – 27 July
Perth : 4 – 5 July & 10 – 11 August
