A self-paced online course ideal for committee members or staff of not-for-profit organisations. The online format allows participants to learn from the convenience of their home or office, featuring 3 modules of content. Three optional live Q&A sessions with the instructor are available over three weeks for additional support.

Dates and Format

Wednesday, 22 July 2026, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM AWST: Course commences with an online orientation session via Microsoft Teams. Participants then work through the modules at their own pace.

Module 1– Introduction to not-for-profit governance including constitutions.

Module 2 – Financials and strategy.

Wednesday, 12 August 2026, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM AWST: Midway check in with a Q&A session via Microsoft Teams.

Module 3 – People and performance.

Wednesday, 26 August 2026, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM AWST: Course concludes with a final Q&A session via Microsoft Teams.

This e‑course includes approximately six hours of study, with all content available upfront. Participants are free to progress at their own pace; however, completing one module per week is recommended to support steady learning. Three optional group online support sessions are also scheduled over the period, giving participants the opportunity to join live Q&A discussions with the instructor.

Note: Late enrolments are welcome. However, participants are responsible for catching up on any missed content and ensuring they remain engaged throughout the program.
