NACC NRM was renamed in 2002 from the previous Northern Agriculture Integrated Management Strategy Group Inc (NAIMS) which was founded 1995 and incorporated in 1998. NACC NRM is one of 54 regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) organisations around Australia, and one of seven in Western Australia. We are a membership-based organisation available to anyone with an interest in the region. Membership is free and we maintain a community focus across the organisation. We recognise that change to improve environmental health has to come from the whole community.
We collaborate with farmers, community groups with any interest in natural resource management activities, Traditional Custodians, local government, industry and government.

Future Farm Foundations, Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator, Nature Based Solutions - stabilising Soils, Regional Node Laad, Participating in the National Soil Monitoring Project, Midwest Aboriginal Ranger Program, House and Home - safeguarding native species, Recovery of WA's Remnant Wheatbelt Woodlands. Successful delivery of 20+ years of landcare and sustainable agriculture project, for a full list see the NACC NRM website. Notable recent project examples include the Chapman catchment regeneration project - implement rehydration actions over 6 properties (approx. 4000ha of area managed through the project), Growing great ground - implemented 2400ha of improved land management including pasture improvement, grazing management, fodder production as well as an additional 450ha of improved on farm-biodiversity. Alongside these on ground actions NACC delivered 30+ extension events (workshops, field days and training days) on a variety of topics including soil carbon, soil science, grazing management, integrated pest management, alternative fertiliser options, precision agriculture, rehydration, drought resilience and regenerative agricultural systems and practices.
