The APC Pome, Citrus and Stonefruit Producers Committee was established in 1994 to provide services to WA pome, citrus and stonefruit growers and is self-organises as a group known as WA Stonefruit.

Currently focusing on strengthening grower capability through improved access to research, extension, and peer-to-peer learning outcomes. Key areas include orchard productivity and resilience, pest and disease management, sustainable production practices, and the adoption of new technologies in orchard systems.

WA Stonefruit aims to support growers to improve water use efficiency, drought preparedness and climate resilience is also an important priority for the industry.

The group is looking to collaborate to support knowledge sharing, innovation and extension activities that strengthen grower capability and sustainable orchard production in Western Australia.

Establishing grower engagement, bringing growers together and identifying key industry priorities.

Supporting a consumer-facing stonefruit industry launch event in collaboration with Buy West Eat Best at Yagan Square since 2024.
