Join the Mulloon Institute’s Lance Mudgway to learn how Landscape Rehydration help retain water on farms, repair salt scalds and reduce waterlogging. Hosted by Warren and Lori Pensini on their holistic planned cattle grazing operation ‘Paraway’, hear about their regenerative agriculture journey, how rehydration practices were integrated into their farm planning and take a paddock walk to on-ground works that were completed earlier this year.

Introductory and Advanced Workshops
There are two workshop event options:

Introduction to Landscape Rehydration.
The half-day introductory workshop gives a foundational understanding of a farm’s water cycle using ‘Paraway’ property as a case study using the Mulloon Institute’s tailored approaches to rehydrating landscapes. This presentation is followed by a visit to an on-ground works site on the property and discussions on approaches to applying these practices to other landscapes. (Tuesday 25th October 9:00 am-12:00 pm with morning tea provided)

Advanced Landscape Rehydration.
Open to all that have attended any of the Mulloon Institute’s Introduction workshops. This 1 ½ day workshop builds on the fundamentals of water and how land use influences the health of a property using observations of landscape function. We offer practical skills to restore and optimise a farm’s water cycle using a range of scientifically grounded tactics and strategies the Mulloon Institute use. Through a series of practical hands-on activities, you will learn skills of assessment, design, and planning for you to develop a landscape rehydration project on your property. (Tuesday 25th October 1:00 pm-5:00 pm and Wednesday 26th 8:30 am-4:00 pm, with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided)
