Two FREE events to connect local businesses and the community with the key State Government agencies and Oakajee SIA proponents, enabling a shared vision for this future heavy industrial area.

We’re seeking our community’s commitment to realise the Oakajee Strategic Industrial Area (SIA).

Oakajee SIA will be a new heavy industrial area and multi-user deep water port for storage for strategic and downstream processing industries to service the Mid West region. The Mid West is recognised for its world class wind and solar energy potential. As such, the greenfield Oakajee SIA is ideally located to produce renewable hydrogen and its derivatives.

The State Government is working with six proponents; Blue Diamond Australia, bp Australia, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Fortescue Future Industries, Green LOHC and Kinara Power, to plan the development of the site.
