Partnering for Business Growth course – $600 subsidy offers
Interested in learning a clear step by step pathway on developing key business relationships to grow/scale up an agriculture or agrifood business? GGA is offering grower groups five places subsidised by $600 each to participate in a five week online course starting March 15 organised by DPIRD and delivered by renowned “Business Partnering” instructor Ian Dixon. Places are valued at $1175 each and come down to $575 with the GGA subsidy. Commitment is around 25 hours in total (5 hours/week for five weeks). Grower groups can nominate one of their local farmer members, a committee member or staff member to receive the subsidy and enrol in the the course (nett fee $575). Browse more about the module content at Ian Dixons website. The DPIRD hosted course will be tailored specifically to agriculture content with ag food case study examples, intentions to grow into international export are not essential but are a bonus. The course registration page is here. Seven GGA staff and grower group delegates participated in a similar course in 2021, rating it of immense value.
