MADFIG was formed in 2013 and incorporated in 2015. MADFIG's focus is on innovating local farm businesses through Research and Development. MADFIG collaborates and partners to ensure growers and their communities benefit from localised research.
Full Membership is open to Growers in the Shire of Merredin and surrounding districts within 150kms from the Merredin townsite.
Associate membership is available to individuals, organisations and researchers associated with agriculture.

Currently these include the SW of WA Drought Hub Node program, NVT trials and projects on Legumes, Fallow, Feed365, FRRR Agribusiness Network, WaterSmart Dams, Carbon Outreach and Soil amelioration. We are always open to partnerships and collaborations to bring the best opportunities to the region and farming communities.
